Guest guest
I know what you mean Judy. Fibro is the gift that keeps on giving. It does not care about what day it is. It keeps on with its stiffness and pain and whatever it wants to throw on us. But in spite of it all, Hey, I am here. I am with the kids. I love them. They are happy and the smiles on their faces make it worth waking up. Your husband really should help you more. He really has no idea what you are going through. Well, anyway, love ya all, Merry Christmas, Debra V. Dave and Jeanne wrote: Tell your husband that if he wants his Christmas presents, he better get his butt in gear and help you out!! Also, I sound like a broken record this morning. Lower your expectations. We all have these images in our head of the perfect Christmas celebrations. Absolutely spotless, perfectly decorated homes. Plenty of cookies, freshly baked by us, of course. Possibly a big, formal dinner to prepare. It's still Christmas without the perfection we want. Do only minimal housework. Hide the clutter, do a quick dusting with a Swiffer duster, and clean the bathrooms. Consider having only appetizers on Christmas, and have everyone bring one or two to share. If no cookies get baked, then buy store-bought. The world will not come to an end. Take care and have the merriest Christmas possible.
