Guest guest
I love it! My husband walked right by me once at my son's school, we were supposed to meet there. He didn't recognize me for a minute. I really get a kick out of stuff like this. However, I met a friend for lunch one day....hadn't seen her for a while. She walked past me and I had to call out to her to get her to look at me. When she realized who I was, HER comment was, " MY GOD, are you HEALTHY?? " I didn't enjoy THAT!! We haven't seen much of each other since then; now that I'm a lot smaller than she is, I think she feels uncomfortable around me. Kathy in NB << " OOH MY GOOOODDDD!!!! " <grin> I have known her 18 years!!!! LOL Dawn>>

Guest guest
told me they didnt get to do the procedure because I knoced one of the nurses out cold. This is a bit rare but not so that it was given a name. I think it was called "combative anesthesia." It was more common with ether. When I had my tonsils removed in 1949, I did the same thing. But then they just got another nurse and redid the ether. While I was very young I remember the incident and I know my parents were billed for two applications of the ether. Anyway I got a bit of a laugh from your story. Poncho

Guest guest
Lynnear, I thought it was pretty funny also. I am glad some things like that happen to me in the hospital, not all of my moments are tragic and ill. Sincerely,
