Guest guest
<< I also have left the 10 contacts and was wondering if I should just pick just anyone from the patient list or is there a special list that I should use ? >> , ask me any questions you like, dear. I'm 14 days post-op and feeling fine. Just e-mail me and I'll respond. You can print out the responses. With your location, you probably don't want to spend the money on international calling to those of us in the U.S. Welcome to our group! Dee in MI. (yarnmama@...) Guest guest
If you're flying into Baltimore, I would go ahead and take another flight into Durham. The U.S. does not have very good train service, and a bus trip would be too long. It will be a very short flight from Baltimore to Durham. I recommend taking Midway Airlines, which I believe services both cities.
Guest guest
Regarding the weather in Durham: If you come soon, you can probably count on chilly days (35-50 degrees F) and colder nights (around freezing), but nothing too extreme. Guest guest
Dear , How exciting living in Iceland must be!!!!! I live in Springfield, Missouri and am going to Durham on Jan 7, 2000 and my surgery will be on Jan 11th. I have listened to everyone on this list now for the past 5 months and it has been an exciting adventure. I have researched and inquired and asked questions just like you are and have talked to many many different people. I am full of hope and anticipation for a successful surgery and outcome because that is all I have ever heard about from ALL the people that Dr R has operated on. It simply sounds like the greatest blessing that could happen in your life. I'm almost glad that I am overweight???!!! Does that sound weird. I am 55 years old and have been terribly overweight for almost 10 years. So it has been a humbling experience as well as a learning experience. I am very thankful that I have accepted myself as an overweight person first before having my surgery. I am thankful that my family and friends have supported me and encouraged me, even though they weren't completely sure of the future. I have educated many people around me and I think the good word is spreading. As of today, I have many many prayers being said for me and Dr R and all the people that he operates on. And I hear this over and over from others too. So we are all a blessing to each other as well as to ourselves. And I think this is another reason for the incredible results people are having. My husband and I are taking our lap top, so we will be emailing all our friends and reporting on everything we see and do. Unfortunately my ins. has not seen fit to pay for this and it is still kind of just hanging. So I will be self pay. But the self pay people do get a 20% discount, which is a good chunk. I have contacted the Missouri State Ins Dept. and am going to file a formal complaint, and it will be investigated by the state first. Anyway, best of luck to you and your plans. Guest guest
, It is 64 degrees and sunny here today, and should be throughout the weekend. However, ya never know what it's gonna be like even next week or especially in Jan and Feb. in Raleigh (beside Durham)
