Guest guest
I have had chest pain recently...over the past 2 months or so. I did go to urgent care...the first time they did the ekg and a bunch of blood work and sent me home. The next time, about 3 weeks later, they insisted on admitting me, more ekg, more blood work, which had to be done every 6 hours, fasting, cholesterol test in the morning, and the a stress test. I made it through it all...my heart is fine. My " good " cholesterol is low, but other than that, my blood was fine. I didn't want to stay overnight, but the dr said, You're going to have this pain again, and you're going to be worried about it, and you'll be on vacation and have to go to a strange emergency room somewhere....you're here now, let us make sure everything is fine. I did...everything was fine, and now when I get chest pain, I know it's probably " just the fibro " . If the pain changes, I'll go back. I think you should check it out...my sister was rushed to er by ambulance from work one night with chest pain and possible heart attach, which turned out to be arthritis in her breast bone. Anyway, I really think you need to make sure the chest pain is not heart related...you don't need one more thing to worry about. Go back to the hospital...have them check you out again when the pain comes back. nancie ~ -- In Fibromyalgia_Support_Group , " Amy Brand " wrote: > > So, woud Fibro be the reason that I have been noticing that I THOUGHT I > was getting tendonitis in my elbow?
