Guest guest
Hi y'all, I need some information from the expertiece... Yesterday we took my to see the endo. she suggested he start on gh a/s/a/p. she has only one prior rss " esperience " with a child in California. She now practices in San , Texas. She couldn't give me much information because the staff at both the clinic and hospital did not provide her with the sufficient information. (AHHHHGGRRR, that's a subject i don't want to touch at this moment). We have a follow up in two months, at which time she will advise me on the amount of GH will be administered. My questions are as follows: 1. Does any one ever been treated by Dr. Daina Drainage? If so what were your experiences with her? 2. Do any of your children have assymetry to any part of their bodies? and does GH speeds up the same with the shorter limb as with the longer limb? 3. Does GH also help gain weight as well gain growth or does Periactin have to be taken along with GH treatments? thanks, ali __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Ali, 1. I can't help you there. 2. Assymetry usually stay proportionate as the child grows. That is what Dr. H. says. I can say that Max's assymetry is a bit more noticeable now, but I don't think there is more of it. I think he is bigger so it is just easier to see on a larger child than a very small one. 3. No, you do not HAVE to use Periactin along with gh. Many people do at first, though. Does it help with weight gain? Yes, in several ways. I do think that gh helped increase Max's appetite to some extent. It also has increased his muscle mass which adds some weight. Max has broad shoulders now. He also has more muscle development. His hips are slim, though. I definitely believe it is as a result of gh. You should ask your endo to get in touch with Dr. H. She can email her or call her on the phone. Dr. H. can share a lot of information with her if you want her to. Guest guest
Ali, Nothing is going to be done for Max's asymmetry. It is not bad enough to do anything for it. Also, the asymmetry is in his chest, shoulders and legs. Not much can be done. Most people don't even notice it unless I point it out.
