Guest guest
Hi Tree!! I started taking the querecetin last night, have had 2 doses so far, am also taking 60 mg allegra and 150 mg zantac, twice a day, 50 mg doxepin and 10 mg singulair at bedtime. I have not seen a real hive in about 2 years, thanks to drugs, but I do experience itching and burning(like sunburn) sensations on a regular basis. I have the dermatographism and any scratching results in bright red streaks. I am also very sensitive to heat, getting to warm makes me feel nauseated and exhausted, it also makes my skin feel paper thin and very uncomfortable. I have some angio on an irregular basis. I have lots of days where i just feel icky and have no energy. I am trying to find something that will help me feel better. I am also taking something for depression, I think most of us have at one time or another, this condition is difficult to say the least. I am also taking Grapeseed extract, which I started about 10 days ago. I keep my house rather cool, which seems to help. I welcome any thought or suggestions you may have. Guest Courtney
Hi there, I am very interested in this topic. I developed dermographism 6 months ago. Any touch and I develop a red welt or hive. I have had all sorts of health issues the last two years, most unexplained. I am very sensitive to medication. Knowing this, I have always had bad allergies and I've been on zyrtec since I was 11 or 12 years old. I am now 27. I tried to wean off of the Zyrtec, but I itch everywhere (throat, back of the eyes, ears, feet, etc.). I have recently started taking BCQ (Boswellia and Curcumin extracts with Quercetin) and switched over to Allegra. I read horrible consumer reviews about Zyrtec and could relate to half of the health mysteries it has maybe caused in other people. I could not cold turkey quit an allergy medication because I itch and break out in hives. I am wondering if taking more Quercetin along with the BCQ would help. I am also trying to plan a trip with my family to the Caribbean. I am wondering if I have a sun sensitivity now as I read that many people with this condition have a sun sensitivity or that the sun can actually help. All of this is very hard to deal with and I would love some thoughts on what you think could help. Thank you for your advice
