Some never will, hon, no matter how much we try. My mother in law has a

hard time understanding my depression. She thinks I should be able to just

fix it by getting out of the house or going for walks. I know she says this

because these things help her. She means well.

I think it was about a year and a half ago I had to explain that I really

needed the meds I am on just to survive, that without them, I would be

suicidal or on the psych floor of the hospital. Anyhow, she may be slowly

coming around. She asked me about Lyrica on Sunday when we were there. I

explained that it would conflict with another med I was on to manage my

moods(Lamictal) and at this point I wasn't willing to trade one for the

other. Anyhow, like I said, some just will never really get it no matter

how much we try to explain. Hope you had a nice Christmas.
