Plenty of water, no alcohol? We still have them elevated even at 5 & 6 yrs. So, if protein is a problem, are you doing supplements? I mean, it's so easy to guarantee your 60g minimum with a couple of drinks a day. But then, I've never ever counted food as protein, so never had a problem here. Contrats on your wt loss! Guest guest
Michele, Sorry that I didnt make myself clear enough. I had my gallbladder removed when I had my RNY. That is why this is so disturbing to me. From what I understand now you can still produce stones in your ducts?? Very wierd. That is why we are doing the EGD. He is trying to make an accurate diagnosis without surgery. My pain is like a gallbladder attack except its in the area of my liver and pancreas. This is so frustrating. Thank you again for your reply. RE: Introduction > Hi , > Gosh, I am so sorry that you have had to struggle so much whether it be > actual or psychosomatic! Guest guest
I don't need to say a word! Hahah! Everyone else is saying it. Although I could tell you about the Peeps Incident and how that put ME back on the straight & narrow after veering off. Guest guest
Diane, Is it not if funny how greedy we get? My surgeon told me that at 5 years post op most patients will still have kept off at least 50% of their extra weight. I would say you have done better than that. My surgeon never claimed I would get " skinny " . He said my body would loose until it found a weight it was " comfortable " with and stay there. Some say we all have such a setpoint. Mine happens to be where I am at now. Don't be so hard on yourself... Jan C> 3-11-98 RNY introduction >Hi! I am new to the group. I had my surgery Dec 99 and still have >weight to loose.
