Please, if there is one thing that is important with this surgery is not to get

lost in the number game! Toss away that scale! Keep in mind that each of us,

loose at different rates and eventually, we will all achieve better health as a

result of having MGB. Each pound adds up more than you know.

Hello everyone,

I have been gone for a while but I'm back. I had surgery on 08-08-99

and came short of dieing. I have made a remarkable recovery, thanks to God

and Dr. Rutledge. I have lost only 55lbs. The weight loss seems to have

slowed down but I believe it's only temporary. Love to all from Rulinda in

North Carolina.

Rulinda, only 55 pounds? That's great! Don't be too hard on yourself.

Everyone loses differently. Alot of us were wondering what happened with

you. Glad to see that you are back and things are improving. When you're

up to it, would you mind telling what happened? It sounds like you had a

close call, from what I remember. Thank God you came through and are on the

road back to good health.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery,

Karin
