Guest guest
Hello Ruthie and welcome to the group! I'm . I've been on Lyrica a few months and now have started having headaches every time I take it so it's no longer THE miracle it was for so long but it does help real well w/my FM. I hope it works well for you. We are now starting to beleive that trauma can induce FM as I'm sure spine fracture WAS traumatic. This is a great group! I hope YOU find the Love, encouragement and support I have since joining about 9mo. ago. GOD Bless YOU Ruthie ! ! ! . . . .................................................................................\ ................................... S.E. Ark. P.S. Rheumatologist just said " take ibuprofen " It helps. A little. So does Ultracet. A little. Also taking Ativan and Amytriptyline (sp?) Just started Lyrica. Internist said it is worth a try. I hope it works. A little dizziness, a little marijuana euphoria. LOL! Should wear off as soon as my body gets used to it. Love my pain patches and Thermacare wraps. Just got a Shiatsu massage pillow for my back which is where I get the most spasms. That feels really really good. I think the start of my fibro might have been when I fractured my spine. The back is the worst all the time but hands, knees and feet have their share. The other night, I had such a terrible headache and all of my teeth were throbbing. I hurt too bad to even get up to get medicine. And then there is the full body burning sensation that makes you feel like you have been scalded. Ok, that is my story. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas (if that is your Holiday preference)Ruthie _________________________________________________________________ Don't get caught with egg on your face.
