Guest guest
I am impressed. It is a relief that someone out there is FINALLY going to try to bring this horrible disease to the forefront of medical awareness. It has been so badly needed for so many years. Sometimes I just want to cry from the disbelief and stigma. thanks, What a great post. love and hugs, Debra V. Caroline Witte wrote: This is a must-see article. When I signed up, I was asked to post my fight against fibro and so somewhere on the site, my story is hiding. And I also checked their website either earlier this month or the end of November and pulled up the items that they have for sale. They have books, t-shirts, a pin and a variety of other items including the fibro wrist band. I ordered several items and among those items were the fibro wrist bands. The last time I sent my aunt a box of books, I just tossed one of the bands in the box, not certain what she would do with! When she called over the weekend, she said she was wearing it --- I had even forgotten I had put that in the box! Well, I guess the fact that she has been wearing it has opened up some conversations at the nursing home where she is and she found out one of the nurses on the staff has it --- so now I have to decide who to give the other three that I have to. I don't think it would be very effective if I give one to my youngest great niece, but her soon to be sixteen year old sister might be able to share with her friends. And speaking of the soon to be sweet sixteen, I need to wrap her joke birthday presents! I have had two die cast convertibles for her for at least 3 years if not four, so I had better get them wrapped so I can give them to her while we are in the midwest during the up coming holidays! > > > --------------------------------- > Never miss a thing. Guest guest
I am fortunate that my NP is knowledgeable about fibro. She knew immediately what I have and she told me everything about it and treatment for it and it was all backed up by reading the posts on this list. Its probably because she is young and fresh out of medical school. Unlike most of you, I didn't have to go from doctor to doctor seeking a diagnoses for months and even years. I will be sticking with her and my FP! Theresa debra van ness wrote: I am impressed.
