Guest guest
Is there anyone here who can eat potatos and popcorn again? Hi! My son who has been on SCD since 2002 does eat popcorn occasionally without a problem but has not tried potatoes yet. Just need to know that someone actually got better and can eat them again. Well, the problem there is that in general, when people are doing well on the diet, they go off and do their own thing, and we don't hear about how well they are doing unless they stop back in. Cravings do go away after awhile. I went to the movies a few weeks ago and realized that while popcorn smelled nice, it no longer smelled like food. And I was a popcorn-aholic! Haven't gotten rid of my air-popper yet.... For potatoes, I make celeriac or white bean mock potatoes. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
