Guest guest
I came in from my "Gardening Therapy" session today (dug up really hard earth, fertilized and planted 4 tomato plants for about an hour) and read the posts in my mailbox. I highly recommend this type of therapy - something about the sun and the soil. It gave me time to absorb what I've been learning about WLS and really think about what my future holds. I was so glad to hear from people this afternoon, especially you, Gordy. I'm new at this too and scared to death but really excited at the same time. I was very touched by your post - it lifted me up and made me feel inspired. Thanks!! I'm working on increasing my water intake today. While I was in "therapy" in the yard, I found our tiny little old lemon tree (bush?) hiding behind the agapantha and ferns. It had several small but ripe lemons on it so I picked a few and added a few slices to my water glass. Yum! Refreshing. I have to remember not to OD though, because I get really bad acidy stomach if I do. It sure tastes good, though and helps me increase my water consumption. Anyway, thanks for the helpful posts. You guys made my day today. in Cupertino 298 and anxiously waiting!

Guest guest
Good luck, Rory! I had Dr. Tanaka, too, and he is such a great surgeon. You’ll be in very good hands. Guest guest
Rory! Yeah!!! Your turn is just around the bend. You know, you mentioning fitting in your son's clothes reminded me of a time when I dreamed that I would be slender enough to fit in Zach's clothes. Funny thing is, before I knew it, Zach couldn't fit into mine because they are too small for him!!! For a few weeks, I doubled my wardrobe with all of Zach's clothes, but then came the day when I had to give him all my new shirts and pants (they were about 3 months old). I'm sending you my positive thoughts that you will have a safe surgery and an uneventful recovery.
