Hi Suzanne,

I was in Nashville the other day and they now have a Trader Joe’s.

I was just browsing through and noticed they have their own brand of coconut

milk which has just coconut milk and water in it. No guar gum, xanthan gum or

anything else. It is a “light” version however and it says 50% less fat than regular

coconut milk. I would have preferred the full fat version but this is all they

had.

Hi, Dinah,

I just looked at a Yogurt Maker Comparison chart at healthgoods.com. That

might be helpful. I have been looking for a yogurt maker and am planning on the

Yolife simply because it is the only one I have found that can make yogurt

either in small jars, or in one large batch. Also it comes with glass jars,

rather than plastic, tho replacing a plastic jar with glas may be easy with

some. I have been using one borrowed from my neighbor; I could not find jars

the right size for that particular unit, a Donvier. Yogourt makers basically

just hold the yogurt-to-be at a constant temp. That's all that they do. Lots

of folks made yogurt forever without a device; now that I am doing it regulary

for SCD I welcome having a device! Anyway, that website chart might help.
