Guest guest
Hi Marcia, How did your appointment go today? I think you were seeing either the ear or eye doctor today, sorry but I can't remember which. I just wanted to check and see if you found anything out about the neurological symptoms you were having. Guest guest
Hi Marcia, Well, it is definitely good news that your eye and ear tests were normal, and certainly that you are not dealing with an additional illness. Still, I know it has to be frustrating to have to contend with the symptoms. I just hope the symptoms diminish so they are no longer bothersome. I'm glad to hear about your eye and ear tests coming out fine. However, if you're still failing the tasks/tests, obviously everything is not all right- that's an abnormal result. Have they scheduled you for an MRI? If your brain looks good on this, then fine. But it should be done. They would not call this good news if it were happening to them. If they won't do an MRI, or pursue this any further, then it's time to get a second opinion- I know what a pain this is, but if this isn't resolving then a second opinion would be a good idea while you're waiting the 5-6 months. Best wishes, -beth IgAn undiagnosed connective tissue disease / all about staying positive and realistic, ie finding doctors that will help and that are interested, which is not so easy to do-and keep looking for answers hang in there, you're going to be allright Marcia
Guest guest
Marcia, I do hope they can find some relief for you and I am very happy they haven't found a secondary disease that is causing it. I don't remember if you said..but did you have any problems during your surgery that may have caused this? Did you stop breathing on the table for instance? Did it start right after your surgery or a few weeks after...just wondering about a reaction to the anestectic they used. If you've already answered these questions sorry for asking them again...I'm a bit behind on posts due to work being so busy for me this time of year.
