Guest guest Posted December 8, 2004 Report Share Posted December 8, 2004 I had heard PLS people say they were able to get a chair or other help from MDA.I called out local chapter to see if we were able to borrow a wheelchair from their " Loan Closet " while we are in Florida this winter for two months. The girl I talked to told me PLS is not one of the 47 diseases they help. Her only solution was to see the neurologist again and maybe my husband, 's condition had gone into ALS and then he would be eligible.
