Hi Everyone

Thank you letting me join your group :-) I am in New Zealand and our health

system is run a little differently here as our population is only 4 million so

we do not get the choices of drugs etc that people in the USA and the UK get,

also they usually go by different names to make life even more confusing! but it

all seems to work and my Rheumatologist is a really great guy, I am seeing him

this Thursday so have to see how I get on.

I do have a question though, that I am hoping someone may be able to help me

with, does any one else on this list have trouble with their neck if they have

A.S? I suffer from a kind of whip lash if I am immobile for too long (i.e

driving long distances) or if I stretch my neck and back too much, then I suffer

with dizziness and a sore neck, of course along with the usual A.S type symptoms

which is not much fun :-(

Wishing you all well

Rose

Hi, rose:

Be careful, or you'll get stuck that way!

The stiff neck was the begining of kyphosis (hunchback) for me.

I wish I had heard about the NSD and Carol Sinclair (The New IBS Low-Starch

Diet; amazon-UK) early enough to prevent getting stuck that way!

The combination of antibiotics with starch exclusion has kept me in remission

for over six years. I can send you my own protocol, if you are interested.

Health,

rheumatic A.S
