Guest guest
Patti, What dosage did you start with? I am planning on starting Cytomel soon and want to be cautious. It sounds to me like your cortisol levels were not high enough to handle the T3. Do you take milk thistle and gentle liver support? Are your temps stable when averaging the three per day and comparing day to day? Cheri Thyroid Storm Symptoms I had a very severe " thyroid storm " reaction when I started on Cytomel several months ago. I stopped the drug within two days, but am still experiencing frequent shakes, sleeplessness, anxiety and extreme exhaustion plus depression and very negative thoughts. What can I do to get over this? I have liver/detox clearance problems which became very evident when this happened so I can't do a full blown liver detox program without getting even sicker. I am on a beta blocker and a very mild tranquilizer as needed and taking 20 mgs of HC in three divided doses, avoiding late night to hopefully improve my poor sleep. Am currently off all thyroid meds. .
