Guest guest
Carl, I just lurk here now, the posts are overwhelming so I had to take a leave of absence and just read from the web instead of receiving regular mail. (The regulars here will know what I mean.) HI EVERYONE!!!!! Just keep reading all the posts, someone sometime will be able to answer your question. I am still pre-op but have learned much just from reading. I just want you to know that someone heard your cry for help, you are not being ignored. If you don't get a responce, post again, someone will hear you eventually. Most of us here are here not just to lose weight however (although it sure is a great side effect) LOL. We all have co-morbidities of one kind or another. Mine is I have re-curring hernias, my colon is hanging out and I have high blood pressure. That's just to name a few. I am so happy for you that you have a March surgery date. I can't wait till I finally have a date. I just have to write out two appeals to the two different insurances. I do know that one will approve the other, I doubt it. Good luck to you in finding the information you are looking for. As I said before, someone will answer, they probably just haven't read your post yet or have yet to download todays emails. Hugs to all my friends and everyone else I haven't met yet. Carla K PS, Merry Christmas and Happy Hanakkah to you all!!!!!

Guest guest
Tom, Are you sure? There weren't many messages last night - one from Anne. I have heard of problems - said she wasn't getting messages either. The list is working if you get two copies of this email as I am sending it direct and via the list. Let me know how many copies you get - but wait 30 minutes to see if it comes in later. Take care, Bill and Charlotte -------------------------------------- Turboom@... wrote: help what do i do? all communications on msa stopped suddenly tom

Guest guest
Debbie, August 22 will be 8 months for Elyse on Periactin and she has gained 13 lbs. Prior to Periactin she averaged 3 lbs a year. Last December she was under 3% weight for height and now she is at 25%. What was weight for height when he started Periactin. I'm curious to see if he was at a higher % rate than Elyse. Re: Re: help Thanks a whole bunch. Now I'll whip out the calculator........so since starting GH Adam has gained 4.2 lbs. Not bad. Guest guest
Debby, Adam has so much catch up growth and weight gain to do that I don't think it is a fair comparison to look at gh vs. Periactin for him. The GH is obviously helping him tremendously. That is a great weight gain!!! You may find that the Periactin will help keep the catch up rate higher, or it will kick in when the gh begins to lose some of it immediate effectiveness. I have to admit, though, that Periactin was not great for Max. He did gain on it at first, but then it leveled off. Then again, Max is an anamoly. And a cute one at that! Guest guest
Hey Nikki Long time no hear. Have you been reading the updates from the convention? I'll have to send you a private email and give you all the details!!! It was a great time. Hopefully you can go next year. I said it was only a once in a lifetime trip for us and that I'd only go once, but you know, I *would* like to go again next year. We have a big convention (I suppose you could call it that) in Toronto that very weekend next summer, it's the World Youth Day and it'll be here in Toronto and the Pope will come over, and all the Catholic youth from around the world will come here. It sounds so exciting and I'd like my kids to experience it, so I have to see what we end up doing. Imagine having the biggest event, probably next to the Olympics right here in Toronto, and we go the States that weekend!! Ha Give me a few days to write to you, it is hard to be on the computer too long now that I've joined the non smoking world (I was saving my last butts for you in Chicago by the way!!!!!) Guest guest
Hi , My husband Steve and I have 19 mo boy/girl twins. Our son has RSS. At 18 months he weighed 12 lb 10 oz and was 26 inches long. is a wonderful little boy. " Our " children are definitely more work, but they seem to have the greatest personalities. Do you have any specific questions that anyone here can answer for you? Your other post said that he had surgery recently. Was it related to the RSS? will probably have surgery for a gtube soon. Good luck to you, Judith, Steve, (RSS) and (non RSS) 19 mo twins > My wife and I are considering the adoption of a 2 yr old boy with > RSS. Can you give us some insight. He is 2 and weighs 20 lbs. >
Guest guest
Fist of all...let me say thanks to everyone who has responded to us. We are still kinda up in the air about what we are going to do. My wife has not even met the little boy yet (I try not to use his name because I probably should not know as much about him that I do). I have contacted the group home where he lives and they are suppose to give my name to his case worker...I have not heard anything as of yet. I just know this....he is on my mind and heart a lot! The question about his surgery...no it was not RSS related and was minor sugery. Again let me say thanks for the response. Will keep you posted. I will ask one specific question. Does enlarged ventricles (in the brain) go along with RSS? One doctor mentioned that this fellow may have some cerebral palsy.....however he was walking and seemed to have good fine motor skills when I was around him. However I did see an MRI report that stated he had " some elargement of the ventricles. " Thanks again for your help! and PAm --- heraldjcb@... wrote: > Hi , > > My husband Steve and I have 19 mo boy/girl twins. > Our son has > RSS. Guest guest
Hi Mathew, I haven't heard of that before. I don't think it is related, but of course check with a doctor first.
