Status report - halfway through maintenance

Well, week three of maintenance is done. I'm bobbling around just under goal at

the moment, which isn't exactly the plan. My personal goal at the moment is 8

pounds below goal (for selfish reasons - 8 pounds under goal would be 75 pounds

lost, and for my money, I want one more refrigerator magnet, darn it).

What's happened lately:

2/3 - 152.8

2/10 - 155.0

2/17 - 153.0

2/24 - 154.8

WW goal is 155, so I'm in good shape, but I need to kick it into gear and get

down a few more pounds, both for my personal goal, and because I want some

breathing room once I get to lifetime. I haven't been increasing my target for

maintenance yet, since I still want to lose some more.

I know that my main hangup right now is that I've gotten sloppy with estimating

points. I'm fine when I have a nutrition label in front of me, but I'm less

careful in restaurants and such. We only eat out once or twice a week, so

getting the estimates back under control shouldn't be a big deal. Just gotta

dust off the Dining Out book and the points slider. I also plan to add an extra

couple of workouts per week - currently doing four one-hour Jazzercise classes a

week. Not sure what I'll add - probably walking, maybe even (eek!) start the

transition to running, as I've found that walking no longer gets my heart rate

up where I'd like it to be during a workout. Can't wait for the new gym to open!

(Yes, I know that I use sentence fragments all the time. I was a math major, not

an English major...)
