Guest guest
please ask your friend to seek counsel from another doc immediately. With the severity and potential virulence of uterine cancer, for a specialist to suggest that anything but prompt surgery for the cancer is indicated -- putting off the taking care of a life-threatening condition == this is extremely suspect. Extremely. please wish your friend all Godspeed. And truly. Not only a second opinion, but a serious and abrupt consideration of not returning to the first doc. If she is assigned a doc in a HMO situation, she ought protest immediately to the highest authority stating that she has a potentially lifethreatening condition. If there is something further I can do to help, let me and others here know. What you have described is in my opinion outrageous behavior on the part of a professional. sincerely ceep
