After looking at the info, I'm going to try and go too! I have a half sis in

Dallas/Ft. Worth that I haven't seen in years, so it would be a nice trip for

both of those reasons! However, we'll probably be staying in the hotel too,

as doesn't sweat and does not handle heat well at all. It's darn hot

in Texas in June, but praise the Lord for air conditioning!! ;-)

I just booked my flights so I guess it is official I am going to Dallas. I live in Canada so it is a bit of a commitment! Hi !!!

I'll be there as I live here!!! I know I would have moved heaven

and earth to get to the conference this year too (just got our dx in Feb

of last year) no matter where it might have been, so am feeling like we

are finally catching a break that its happening here this year and isn't

going to cost me the way it would have if it were elsewhere!!! Lord

knows we deserve one once in a while huh!!?? LOL

Staying there at the hotel really does make the most sense and its a

lovely hotel attached to a very nice mall (so restaurants, quicky eating

places, shopping, ice skating (for those who dare) and a movie theatre

are all attached to the hotel). So when an "escape" is needed one

exists right there!!!

So, look for me there!!!! Looking forward to getting to meet many

from here and the list and cannot wait!!!

Wouldn't it be nice if the next convention would be in Canada? Vancouver,

Calgary, Toronto, Montreal ... we have Mito specialists in Canada too! Think

of all the money the Americans would save with the exchange!!!! <GRIN>

This morning after booking both the flights and the room my husband

decided to come as well! I am so excited that he will be able to

come with me. Now all I have to do is set up all the child care

while we are away. Thankfully I have great people around to help,

and I really do feel that this conference is very important for

Ronan. Can't wait to see everyone there.
