Guest guest
My son and daughter -in law are about to divorce, he is a truck driver on the road, and we promised him that we would keep an eye on his girls and make sure they are doing ok while he is gone. The problem is..... as long as daughter -inlaw needs something we hear from her daily, she asked us to watch the girls this past Friday just for a couple of hrs while she went x-mas shopping no prob, well a couple of hrs turned into a 22 hr day!she returned with them that Sat. afternoon so we could keep them over night " AGAIN, " and as she was walking out the door, informed me that she had to work Sun. until 3, in the mean time my back was killing me and the pain was running into my leg from all the lifting from the day before, on top of that I got the stomach flu that night, asked her to have her mom come and get the girls, well mom came and got them at noon on Sunday, in the mean time I have been trying to get a hold of her for the last 2 days to see how our grand babies are, and do you think for the life of me she will answer my calls, their dad comes home tomorrow so we would like to have them, so he can see his girls when he gets out of the truck after 3 long weeks w/o his girls, she just won't answer my calls. Any suggestions on how to deal with this one?The reason the attachment, is because they lived with us all those little girls lives, and I helped raise them, and it feels like my own kids have been yanked from me and it hurts!!!!! I need Help!!!!!!
Guest guest
Hi my thought would be to tell her that it goes both ways. If she wants your help, she should at least be there for you also. By answering your calls and letting you know how that children are doing. And I understand that watching the girls is a pleasure for you, but you are also helping her and she needs to appreciate that. Sit down and talk to her as soon as you can get a hold of her. If you don't nothing will change. Hope I helped a little.
