Hi folks,

I am diagnosed with maybe fibromyalgia, RA tests negative.

I have been doing AP for over a year now thanks to a GP that

is willing to work with me.

I have done this without any Mycoplasma testing and

often thought it would be good and curious to see how I do on those

tests....

How and where can I get mycoplasma testing done.

I am in Portland Oregon.

I guess I would need the Lab and also maybe some info to

talk my doctor into ordering.

Ed, I know I was on AP abut a year when I had it done. I used the

Arthritis Research Centerin Gaithersburg MD as the mycoplasma

complement fixation test CAN be done while on AP. I chose this rather

than a washout for PCR. She is one of the only ones doing it.

Their number is 301 216 1231

Ed,

Check out these two websites:

http://www.rheumatic.org/myco.htm

I don't think there is a mycoplasma test lab in Oregon.
