Guest guest
Hi folks, I am diagnosed with maybe fibromyalgia, RA tests negative. I have been doing AP for over a year now thanks to a GP that is willing to work with me. I have done this without any Mycoplasma testing and often thought it would be good and curious to see how I do on those tests.... How and where can I get mycoplasma testing done. I am in Portland Oregon. I guess I would need the Lab and also maybe some info to talk my doctor into ordering. Ed

Guest guest
Ed, I know I was on AP abut a year when I had it done. I used the Arthritis Research Centerin Gaithersburg MD as the mycoplasma complement fixation test CAN be done while on AP. I chose this rather than a washout for PCR. She is one of the only ones doing it. Their number is 301 216 1231 Marge > Hi folks, > I am diagnosed with maybe fibromyalgia, RA tests negative. > I have been doing AP for over a year now thanks to a GP that > is willing to work with me. > I have done this without any Mycoplasma testing and > often thought it would be good and curious to see how I do on those > tests.... > > How and where can I get mycoplasma testing done. > I am in Portland Oregon. > > I guess I would need the Lab and also maybe some info to > talk my doctor into ordering. > > Ed
Guest guest
Ed, Check out these two websites: http://www.cfsresearch.org/mycoplasma/labs.htm http://www.rheumatic.org/myco.htm I don't think there is a mycoplasma test lab in Oregon.
