Guest guest
My husband saw the Dr. today and they went over his BS numbers since Dr. increased his meds to 8 mg. Amaryl in mornings and 1,000 mg. Metformin twice a day. Hi Amber, Just wondering how much Amaryl your husband was taking before. Kat

Dr. was in Sri Lanka at the time working in an orphanage. BS numbers weren't coming down, so she increased to 4 mg. Dr. returned and put him on 8 mg. He's been on 8 for a month now. Guest guest
Sometimes I dont have the energy to work out, but once I start, I feel better and have more energy. Try to stress that to your hubby. Get him to walk for five min. I always feel better once I have worked out! Many times people get into the 'rut' saying I have no energy, many times they dont have any, but sitting all day doing nothing is going to make a person have less energy than if they were to get up and move.... It's got to be up to him. Dr. was very firm about it yesterday. Amber

Guest guest
i went out today and rode two of my horses in the field. one of them is unbroke and the other is sorta broke to ride. they both did well considering the one had never been ridden. he reared up on me but i stayed on. and did a little rodeo exhibition for me but did well over all. i never have energy anymore and i really had to talk myself into going out to ride. tomorrow after church i am taking one of my big horses out to ride on the trails. grace. doesnt have to do with anything except its my exercise. lol Re: Had Dr. appointment today Sometimes I dont have the energy to work out, but once I start, I feel better and have more energy. Guest guest
yes i have. i have trained 3 others to. this is his first time being ridden with someone who wanted something from him. i have had him home here the last few months and we were working on trust issues. he trusts me but i am not sure i trust him as much yet. i am careful though and do wear a helmet. just dont ask if i wore one today. LOL thank you for the concern though you sound like you know something about horses. grace Re: Had Dr. appointment today jsexton wrote: > i went out today and rode two of my horses in the field. one of them > is unbroke and the other is sorta broke to ride. they both did well > considering the one had never been ridden. he reared up on me but i > stayed on. and did a little rodeo exhibition for me but did well over > all. i never have energy anymore and i really had to talk myself into > going out to ride. tomorrow after church i am taking one of my big > horses out to ride on the trails. > grace. > doesnt have to do with anything except its my exercise. lol > Horseback riding is excellent exercise, but it sounds dangerous for you to be mounting a horse that rears with you. Guest guest
than i spoiled it by eating an ice cream bar. didnt raise it to much though and it will be okay tomorrow. i just need to get my butt in gear. since they changed my sleeping pill i havent been feeling as good as i should. i was taking ambien but they put me on restoril and while it helps me to sleep i still dont sleep deep enough so i am going to complain and hope they put me back on the ambien. its tough being a veteran and using the veterans hospital instead of private practice docs. but jim just got medical insurance so i am going to be useing it. grace Re: Had Dr. appointment today In a message dated 4/9/2005 9:53:33 P.M.
