Guest guest
I just started Lyrica about 4 days ago...I am finally beginning to get used to it, but I was feeling like I was on acid or something. I couldn't even go anywhere the first few days, but I did notice a lot less pain...especially after waking up. But, on top of that I am sick with a bad cold, so I am taking Mucinex D & Dayquil/Nyquil & my Straterra. Let's just say that I feel almost comatose....like I am in my own little world. It feels like a really darn good buzz, but I am still having to work & it's just strange feeling.
Guest guest
I'm so glad to hear that you're adjusting to the Lyrica. When I try either Nyquil or Dayquil, I always feel 'high' as well. You are adding those to the Straterra, so no wonder you feel 'high'. Just a question, but did you ask the pharmacist if it was safe to take all of those things together? I am now limited to Benadryl (plus aspirin or Tylenol) when I get a cold cos of the drug interaction probs. I know it really sucks to have a cold or flu on top of all the other things, when I have something like that I'm literally shaking my fist at the heavens, asking in what way that is fair...LOL!! That being said, I'm glad I had my flu shot. I didn't have any side effects other than a sore arm, of course I was in the middle of the flare from H--- when I had it, so I probably wouldn't have noticed. And, it doesn't help avoid a garden-variety cold. I hope you get over that nasty cold in time to celebrate the holidays. I reckon you have lots of work right now. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Please do talk to the pharmacist if you haven't already. Please keep us posted on the Lyrica, I have a 'vested interest' in those reports right now. Guest guest
Sounds like a normal adjustment to the medication. I'm sure being sick and having to take the cold meds isn't helping, but you gotta get through the day, too. I sure hope you feel better soon. Seems like there's a lot of Christmas colds going around.
