Guest guest Posted March 1, 2004 Report Share Posted March 1, 2004 I found out this weekend that my favorite aunt (who does all the beautiful wedding cakes for everyone) has a brain tumor. Further testing performed today brought very discouraging news.. The tumor is inoperable and they give her 3-4 months to live. My uncle is really taking it hard. I found out today that my aunt has multiple tumors.I just hope that she doesn't linger in pain since the doctors havesaid that the tumors are inoperable. My older brother is 100 miles away and the younger brother is about 75 miles from her. They both know I can't do the physical work and my limitations. They both are fairly sympathetic and will tell me to slow down. However, they both realize that I am able to say things to Mom and get different results than they do...and vice versa on other things. I think the next time I go to NC I will drive straight up I-95 and that will cut off some mileage. One of my classmates and best friend from 1-12 grades has asked me to stop off there this next time. She's in SC and even after all these years she calls my Mom and talks to her to find out how she is and stops by to see her when she is in town. Christy, I'll probably stop on the way back though and either take you to lunch or stop overnight. I don't know my schedule just yet but when I do I'll let you know.
