I know this has been discussed before, but here goes anyway. I can't stand the taste of Colace stool softner. It burns my throat something awful and the terrible taste stays in my mouth for the next 6 hours. My gag reflex in working strong when I take it but I have not thrown it up yet. Any suggestions of what I might take in place of the Colace?

At Vitalady's web site ( www.vitalady.com ) she sells Liquafiber, which she swears by. I really trust the products she () recommends because she's a WLS surgery patient and has kept her weight off for 10 years. She also only sells products she has researched and tried herself. Liquafiber is one she uses on a regular basis.

I've reprinted the "blurb" from her web site below, so you can see the info and possibly order it. It's under "Vitamins and minerals" on her web site. I guess *some* of these types of fiber blocks absorption of vitamins, minerals, and/or protein.

Thank you so much for the info. I will order some of this, but in the meantime I will continue with the Benefiber. It seems to work good and mixes great with yogurt and applesauce.
