Guest guest
Does anyone like the idea of having people post the names, address, and phone numbers of their doctors so we can have a current list of docs prescribing antibiotic therapy? As you know, Drs Hauser and Mercola are not prescribing this anymore. I tried to call Busse and her phone is disconnected, no further notice. Guest guest
Hello All, My name is Kris and I have been a patient of Dr. Mercola for years. Dr. Goh is the woman he chose to take over his patient load. She will prescribe antibiotics, it's just that she would prefer to try dietary & lifestyle changes before prescribing antibiotics. FYI, I was diagnosed with scleroderma in 2000 and now have a negative ANA. In addition I feel great, rarely get sick etc. Their practice has a lot to offer so I'd hate to see it taken off the list because they want to try other alternatives before the antibiotics. Believe me, I took the IVs and antibiotics for years, and am thankful I had them. And I know that Dr. Goh will give the antibiotics if a patient isn't responding to their other suggestions. Anyone who wants additional re: Dr. Mercola/Dr. Goh can contact me anytime. Kris rheumatic Update/add doctors to list? Guest guest
The American Medical Association lists Busse, M.D. as now being in Schaumburg, IL 60173, but gives no address. Here are two other doctors said to be prescribing the AP. Zeiger, D.O. Health Works 1030 N. St. Chicago, IL 60610 312-255-9444 Alan Bain, D.O. 111 N. Guest guest
Hi Kris, <<she would prefer to try dietary & lifestyle changes before prescribing antibiotics.>> Which is fine if you are a new patient. I don't think an established patient should be asked to go off meds and replace that with just a diet and/or supplements. << I took the IVs and antibiotics for years, and am thankful I had them>> Me too, I am very thankful to Dr Mercola for that. I feel great now and have felt great for a few years. <<I know that Dr. Goh will give the antibiotics if a patient isn't responding to their other suggestions.>> Maybe, but I don't want to take a chance going off meds, getting another horrendous flare and going back on meds. It doesn't make sense to me. BTW I am glad you are ANA neg. and the dietary aspect works for you! Take Care

Guest guest
Hello All, Sorry if I didn't make it clear - it was a joint decision to slowly wean off (over the course of 2 years) the IVs first and then the Minocin. I had many concerns about stopping the antibiotics and I felt that Dr. Goh definietly understood where I was coming from & did not feel pushed into a corner. In fact, she said she would continue to write the prescription for the Minocin for as long as I felt that I needed it. Also, during the time I was taking the IVs and Minocin, I was also taking their advice on diet/stress reduction/cleansing/exercise etc. Just wanted to be clear about my experince with Dr. Mercola & Dr. Goh.
