That would be pretty normal for me. Sometimes more formed than

that, but “that” is decent.

I’ve had Crohn’s since early 1980s, am on SCD but not currently

on drugs (but am going to start LDN soon); am missing about three feet of small

intestine from two surgeries. In my case, I often have part of a bowel movement

somewhat formed and part much looser, nearly diarrhea; that’s also “normal” for

me.

Subject: stool question for UC

i am on the SCD. I have UC. My last flare was in December w/ me

finally tapering of pred. at the end of Jaunary. am still on the maximum

dose of Asacol.

Here is my stool question. I have no blood. I do not have classic

diarrhea. I don't know what to call it..... but typicaly i stool anywhere from

2-5 times a day... mostly in the am. My stools are rarely formed.... more

like soft serve (i know, it is gross) and will often settle in the bottom

unformed. But never watery

i know that this type of poo is not " normal " so i thought i'd throw

it out there to see if any of you find in your " good " times that this

is as " normal' as it gets....

Hi there,I also have lots of those types of BM's (loose ~2x/day). I tend to call them loose or soft depending on whether or not is discolors the water in the toilet or not. When things are really good I get formed BM's, sometimes for several days in a row. When things are bad I get urgent, watery, explosive D. I also get BM's where it starts out soft or even firm, then get's loose and possibly even watery D. Crohn's: Since July 2005SCD: Since Sept 2008Meds: Nothing yetTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Thursday, March 5, 2009 10:43:39 AMSubject: RE: stool question for UC
