What a weird thing. Everyone knows how to say their own name. And how

every they say it is that way it is. Give me a break! When I was a school

nurse, if I had trouble with a student's last or first name, I would ask

them how they pronounced it. That was the way I would say their name. Some

parents spell names different than the book, too bad I would say it the way

they wanted it. Education has nothing to do with it. So call yourself

Barrow. My son and his family were stationed in Barrow for two

years...Barrow is Barrow for pity sake!

My name is Haight....pronounced hate....you should see all of the

pronounciations that I get....Hot, Hyatt, Haigh ...etc. Everyone is

desperately trying to avoid saying hate...crazy. Just say hate!!! tee hee

Dear Suzanne, Thank you for saying that about Barrow. The reason that the

people have a hard time saying Hate to you because you are so loving. It

Whats in a name..I forget the rest...somebody tell me please...I

wish I had my maiden name back..Short and plain...LEWIS...but

noooo, I am stuck with HOLIFIELD...that is pronounced HOLY

FIELD...NOT Hollyfield...Lord that irritates me...Now look at

it...Does it look like Hollyfield...NOOOO...It plainly says HOLI..I

sympathize..and Suzanne I bet they Do say Hyatt cause they are

afraid to say HATE...Crazy world...Just glad my name is not

Muckinfuss...Don't laugh..I know some of them...Nice people..but

you know they catch H-e-l-l...
