Thanks for the chuckle regarding your son's visit and wrapping gifts. I

absolutely hate wrapping presents. I mostly prefer to use the gift bags

now, because then I can just bury the present in tissue and voila - I'm

done!

I am sorry to hear the news regarding the pain possible being from the bone

cancer. I had an aunt who passed away from this about 25 years ago. I know

it is one of the most painful cancers to have. I pray that they get you

started on some treatment soon. You are too special a person to have to

suffer so much. I pray that the treatment will bring you to a nice long

remission. Take care, Marti.

My son is coming home for a visit tomorrow and I couldn't even think of what

I needed to do to get ready. It occurred to me just a while ago that I

should change the sheets on his bed and I just said oh sheet, he can do that

himself and sat back down. I wrapped a few presents yesterday before the

fog rolled in and realized a minute ago that his is the one that I didn't

wrap, so I threw it behind the sofa for later, hopefully before he gets here

tomorrow. I surely do hope he doesn't get here too early and that my brain

functions tomorrow.

Hi Jeanne,

Glad you got a chuckle - we can all use one sometimes.

I like the big bags too, but I have so much little stuff for the grandkids

that it's cheaper and less cumbersome to wrap.I will have to admit that I like

to wrap presents and tie different color bows on them, until there gets to be

too much or I'm running out of time, then it becomes a chore and the bags come

out.

Thanks for the warm, thoughtful concern about the bone pain. I appreciate it

and any prayers and thoughts that come my way. I'm hoping for the same

prognosis.

Thank you again,

Marti
