Looking for a support group in the Orange County area.

I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a Kaiser support group

in the Orange County area as that is where I live. I had my surgery 9

years ago and feel that I could really use a support group.

I too am looking for a support group in Orange County, and the only

one I've heard of is in Santa Ana on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

The meeting is held in a Kaiser building at 1900 E. 4th St. in Santa

Ana. I think there are 2 meetings the same night - one for pre-ops

and one for post-ops. I'm pre-op, and haven't been yet--maybe we'll

meet (in passing!) at the June meeting.

I just went to my 3 month post op check-up in Sacramento Kaiser and

picked up this list of support groups. Some of them may have been

initiated by Pacific Bariatrics, but they are for Kaiser patients as

well. So if you'll pardon my ignorance of the location of these

cities ( I don't know if any of them are near Orange County) I will

list them for you. If any are near you let me know and I'll give you

the rest of the information. (exact location, leader's phone #, time

etc.)

Lori,

I would appreciate it if you could sent me the

information about the support group in Garden Grove as

that is not far from both my job and my home.

Thank you for your prompt response as I really feel

that I need some support at this time.
