Guest guest
, You can still be creative. Work on things you know need done for awhile in the morning or when you feel your best for the day. I tell myself everyday I have to do something today just in general say chores. After those daily chores I do not feel guilty about sitting the rest of the day and rest up for tomorrow. Or being on the computer. If you can't then don't do it. If you are in pain or not feeling well then you have the right to not do something. We just have to try, and even thinking up something to do can wear people like us out. I have had it for feeling guilty about what I can do and can't do. I think my husband has figured it out too. We have to live the best we can by doing what we can without overdoing it! hugs, Lori H john honeycutt wrote: to do some of the everyday things others are able to do w/ease? Guest guest
Yes, I know exactly what you mean, . I began a project about 5 years ago, painting our kitchen cupboards. I got all but the last two on the top done, and nothing on the bottom. So, there they are, staring me in the face everyday, half painted white, the other half the same ugly fake wood brown. It feels good when we can complete a task, and say, " look what I accomplished. " I'm going to get back to them one day soon. Gotta think positively, right? LOL! Guest guest
Hey , Just do what you can do, a little bit each day whether it is keeping home in order or doing a project. A good way to keep home clean and in order is to work on one room at a time and go on to next room when that is done, make them in same order so in goes like in a circle and they all get attention in the continuous same order, I hope that makes sense. My mother in law taught me that and it does seem to work pretty well. Home will never be " perfect and clean " unless you hire someone to keep it clean and that is an expense most of us can't afford but may be worth it every few months to get the really heavy work done(cleaning) if there is no one else. Also, doing a project you really want to do and enjoy may take your mind off the pain, just try to rest in between and stay as comfortable as possible. Put some music on to distract from the pain. Good LUck! Wishing you a clean home/ no pain/ a completed project! Jodi J Dave and Jeanne wrote: Yes, I know exactly what you mean, .
