Guest guest
Suzanne, Try some hot Chamomile tea with honey in it (if you can have honey). While it doesn’t get rid of the pain, it does take a little of the edge off and helps relax the rest of me that tenses from the Fibro pain. ~~~~~ _____ From: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group [mailto:Fibromyalgia_Support_Group ] On Behalf Of Suzanne Sent: Saturday, December 15, 2007 12:50 PM To: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group Subject: herbal remedies? Guest guest
I take two 200mg SAM-e tablets in the morning, 400mg ALA 2-3 x daily, 500mg Chromium Picolinate 2-3 times daily, 2grams of CLA 2-3 x daily, 400mg Guiafenesin 3-4 x daily, either sublinqual or cream Progesterone once or twice a day, and two Vitalert multivitamins with minerals twice daily. This is my BAREBONES cannot live without repertoire. Oh, and sprinkle Tylenol or whatever else throughout the day. Sometimes I quit taking them for a day or so because I feel like it's not helping.....but it doesn't take long to realize I'm WAAY worse without them and they make a difference. I have found that in the past stimulants and antidepressants help with FM pain, too. There are many different combinations. You have to find what works for you. Good luck & warmest regards, in Louisiana - where it's FINALLY in the mid 30's in December after being in the 80's all week. > > Someone mentioned some herbal remedies... Guest guest
I take probiotics for the intestinal issues that come with fibro, and they seem to work wonders And ginger pills to help keep me regular. Guest guest
I use kava kava, kratom, corydalis, angelica, red poppy, chamomile etc, for pain relief. Not mixed all together of course. Some synergise with others though. Best one of the bunch would be the kratom. Please be careful taking any herbs. wrote: Suzanne, Try some hot Chamomile tea with honey in it (if you can have honey).
