Guest guest
Hello everyone! My name is and I've had fibro for about ten years and possibly longer than that. I am a 38 yo artist living in Washington state with my wonderfully supportive boyfriend. I'm looking forward to being a part of this group but I will admit I feel intimidated by the intro letters and such..warnings such as " do not just leave us!! " I'm always nervous in new situations and I'm sure once I see how things go in here I won't be so scared LOL I am also confused with some of the messages I've received so far...such as the files sent..if that is the right word...there is nothing in them to click on and open, nothing happens when I try to get to the information so I've just been deleting them. This past year has been pretty lousy for me healthwise...Prognosis for the fibro? Don't have one. Prognosis for my diabetes is poor and have been told if things don't greatly improve I may die in two or three years. As we all know the pain we feel makes it hard to do things such as housework, let alone intentional exercise! I am also diagnosed with CFIDS, arthritis, facet arthropathy, migraines, sleep apnea, high blood pressure and cholesterol. I try to keep busy with pen pals, reading, movies, chatting online, taking care of my pets, visiting my parents and shopping. Please feel free to ask me anything, especially if I " m not making sense! Looking forward to being here, G --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
Hi . It sounds like you are in a lot of pain between the FM, migraines, facet arthropathy (which I had to look up to know what it was) and plain ol’ arthur keeping you down. I’m sure that it must be overwhelming at times. Are you still able to do much of your art? Does it or did it help keep your mind off the pain? I really hope that you won’t feel intimidated here. We all have bad days and good days. Unfortunately FM doesn’t wait around the a convenient time to knock us down. I’m glad that you found your way to the group. ~~~~~ from Indiana _____ From: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group [mailto:Fibromyalgia_Support_Group ] On Behalf Of Medicated Drama Queen Sent: Friday, December 14, 2007 5:54 PM To: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group Subject: New and confused...
