Well it's official!

The IT department at my work sucks. I can't access webmail or the

yahoo groups any longer. Thus far, Livejournal has survived the cut.

I'm waiting for that to get killed too...

So now I have to weed through a days worth of posting. *grumble*

This just so sucks.

We are trying to get the ban on Yahoo Groups lifted b/c we have used

it in the past to help patrons find online support groups. So

hopefully that will change. As for my email? Well, I will just have

to forward it to work every *bleeping* morning.

This job is really beginning to get on my last nerve.

I don't know what it is about jobs these days : P

I have two sisters that have worked in the same field for 20 years and

they are now being told what to do by people with 3 yrs experience in

" business management " . (and most of what they are told to do is not

humanly possible).

I have a brother who is part of a union and is nearly starving to

death because they think he is too old to work, but he want to make it

to an early retirement (he's a 59-yr-old master electrician).

I have a niece that quit being a counselor because they were making

her do more paper work than counseling. She's now working for a

nursing home.

I don't know if it is the economy that makes those in charge so bitter

these days or what.
