Guest guest
Moe - Wow. Bless your heart. You've been through the wringer--literally--and you've come out the other side still smiling!! I'm sorry you've gone through so much. Your winning attitude is an inspiration to me, to hang in there no matter what's going on. God bless you and yours..... Guest guest
Thank you so much Bette!! The day I got home I started counting points again, while I was gone I just sort of winged it and counted points in my head. It was hard at the hospital as the cafateria food was very high in fat and not so great, even the salad bar was pretty bad, that shocked me, I thought they would have low fat good choices there. But what I did was split all my meals with my 3yr old, we saved money and I saved points. Glad to be back on the group! Moe 234/
Guest guest
Wow! What a long scary trip. Most importantly, I'm glad your mom is doing okay! Pretty scary about the guy getting shot by the motel! Wow! Your poor son! Hope he's not permanently tramautized with riding in cars no. lol! Go you for watching what you ate and sticking with WW as best you could even through a rough situation. Cheyenne
Guest guest
Moe, So sorry to hear about your Mom's health problems. My best wishes to her for a full recovery.... sounds like you had your share of trials & tribulations on the road .... glad you're all back safe & sound. Hospital cafeteria food is by far the worst I've ever seen. A few years back, when my daughter spent a # of weeks in the hospital, I had to deal with it. There's no way to make good healthy choices there - the salad wilts and as you say, everything else is high fat. I've found this to be true of every hospital cafeteria I've ever been in....
