Guest guest
Norrah and others: My older son seems to be going through a regression of sorts. He's been very perserverative in that when he wants something, that's all he can think about - like nothing else in the world can come between his desires and their immediate gratification. He's really been pushing our buttons and we also get that short, intense scream for no reason. He also has been playing on the sit and spin more than I've ever seen him do, but not spinning around by himself anymore. I think I've been very careful with his diet; the only thing different is that he had a flu and I gave him Tylenol Bubblegum flavor a few times before I realized it wasn't on the GFCF list, then I switched to grape flavor Tylenol oral suspension. I really don't know what it is, but I've been reading so many reports of kids having a really hard time right now. Any thoughts other than they're responding to the election weirdness? Guest guest
Hi , It could be fall allergies, but it may also be time to go to the next step in the diet. If my son had grape flavor Tylenol or anything like that, he would probably be off the wall too. We ended up having to eliminate artificial colors and flavors--all that Feingold stuff -- see www.feingold.org Those kind of sensitivities didn't really become apparent until we had been GFCF for a little while. Good luck,

It took about 3 weeks to get his constipation cleared up afterwards.

Grapes and artificial flavors are part of the Feingold diet. My son gets very hyper, stimmy and spacey when he eats artificial flavors & colors, apples, plums, grapes and tomatoes which are all things to avoid on the feingold diet. So maybe that is it Look into romemary waring studies in the uk. kelly < the only thing different is that he had a flu and I gave him Tylenol Bubblegum flavor a few times before I realized it wasn't on the GFCF list, then I switched to grape flavor Tylenol oral suspension.
