Guest guest
If I order 25 pounds of almond flour, how much space does that take up? I am trying to determine if I would have space in my freezer. Would it come in five pound bags or one 25 pound bag? Where is the best place to order it from? Thanks,

Guest guest
The 25 pounds can be bought in either 5 pound bags or in bulk. I bought it in bulk--it was a little cheaper that way and bagged it myself. It takes up about the amount of room, my wife says, that a 25 pound turkey would. I also bought it from Lucy's Kitchen. Guest guest
The 25 lb order that I get from Hughson Nut takes up about this much space (about half of a shelf in my refrigerator - I don't freeze it): 15 " x 14 " x 9 " - it comes in a box about this size as well. Hope that helps. a www.comfybelly.com
Guest guest
I ordered mine from Honeyville Grain. It comes in a box which is about the size of a case of soda, and twice as high. It is packed in one large plastic bag which lines the case, and you need to portion it out - I get about 10 ziploc gallon freezer bags out of it - dont fill too full - same principle as with liquids - it expands while freezing, and will pop the seams and make a huge mess! Guest guest
Hi, I had ordered from Honeyville Grain bc the shipping was $4.95 anywhere in the US. I live in Maine, so thought that was a great deal. When I got the box, it had Hughson Nut stamped on it, so I went to their web site and ordered my most recent box directly on line from them. Their base price is around $87 but the shipping to Maine was more expensive. The bottom line for me was that it was def cheaper to order directly from Hughson Nut. It came to about $4.20 per pound including shipping. Dianne CD; SCD 5 months, symptom free 3 months! no meds )
