Guest guest
My laptop has Vista, and I HATE it! It came with one gig of RAM installed, the only way I'm going to be able to really use it is to have another gig installed, and I can't afford that now. Also, it is just INCREDIBLELY annoying, with all those pop-ups every time you try to do something. I HATE IT!! I hardly ever even try to use it. I just sit here at my desk-top and suffer!! RAB I use vista on my laptop too, what type of popups are you seeing, maybe i could help with that. am a tech, know some about how to work with setting in browser and operating systems. I too am in the middle of a major flare and cannot work now so helping some people with some tech problems might be good for me.I hate vista too, it came on my laptop but i got 2 gigs of ram with it cause I knew it would not work with less. it can be unstable, browser shuts down and stuff. and it does have a lot of little messages warning you about stuff. I dont like them either as I know what I am doing most of time. I also take lyrica and it helps me a lot at night to sleep especially. i am in terrible pain and cant sit at desktop now at all.am having pain in places i dont normally have pain in like my jaws and face, which i want to think some of that is from crying all the time and sinuses full of liquid.I am just miserable most of the time when I am awake and trying to rest and get better. if I can assist with your tech questions email me at spiritualsuze@.... I wont promise i can answer or fix all but may be able to advise or tell you where to go to get help.
Guest guest
I agree with this! I just got a new laptop a couple weeks ago with Vista on it, and I hate it! For exactly all the reasons you just stated why you hate it. I have another Gig of RAM on the way to me, because with Vista, only 1G RAM just isn't enough. The darn operating system eats up all that, then won't let anything open due to not enough memory. Grrrr. Can't wait until my order arrives with my other 1G card. Got it at buy.com for $23, so it wasn't too terribly expensive. I was holding out on buying a new laptop because I was hoping they would give up on this Vista thing and bring back XP, but no such luck. Guest guest
Sorry you're in such pain. Have you tried heat therapy? Don't think Lyrica should cause pain. Feel better soon. Guest guest
Did you just start taking the Lyrica? It is known to have alot of side effects but they would probably show in first few doses, dont know what exact problems you are having, but you can read the side effects and see if it relates.' Guest guest
Hi, that was a great deal on memory. I will check there and maybe after the first I can get it. However, I will still have to pay to have it installed, I don't have the first clue as how to do those things. Thanks. Peace and Love Caroline > I agree with this! Guest guest
I started Lyrica 2 weeks ago and it has really made a difference. It took away 95% of my pain and I sleep well. I'm sure it is different with everyone. maybe it isnt for you. Let your doctor know what's going on. Theresa in Tn Sorry you're in such pain.
