I just had a hysterectomy on March 10th. All I can say is I thank God the

suffering is behind me. I did not need to keep a uterus that was no longer

functioning. It was only a place in my body for those nasty fibroids to

thrive. Good luck to you on your up coming operation.

My experience ahs been similiar in that the desity of the fibroid, the whole

lower belly area thickens and expands seemingly after mid cycle every month

which leaves about 12 premenstrual days and thenthe period, not a lot left

of feeling sleek and sexy! I also get a burning feeling sometimes withthe

pressure aroundthe ovaries? Any one felt that? At any rate it is pretty much

an endless battle to reduce the discomfort and bloat.

You're on my prayer list. I'm hoping for a small miracle for you, actually

several. I hope that at least helps. It may be worth the money to see the doctor

if this all keeps up. Remember, not every symptom we have is necessarily related

to the fibro monster. You have been going through a lot of stress, so it might

be ulcers or something. I hope and pray you can get it 'fixed' whatever the

reason. Gut pain is probably the worst pain of all. In fact, I know it is.

Again, I'm praying as hard as I know how.

Peace and Love

I will pray that it goes away. But if not, you know you have to get it

checked out. Pain like that is telling us something is wrong. Ignoring it

could be deadly. Take care.

Hi, I think abdomen pain is the worst too. It is the one pain that keeps me

from doing anything at all, except trying to get comfortable. I sometimes get

abdomen pain from Sarcoidosis, so I don't know if I get it from fibro too. Is

that a symptom?

It 'is and isn't', eg, mine is usually from the IBS, but the IBS is part of the

FM. Right this moment I am having BAD gas pains, which is why I'm up at this

unGodly hour. The reason I say they are the worst pain is that none of the pain

meds do a thing for them. They can't, as they aren't caused by nerve endings. A

few more hours in the bathroom...and it's my own fault. I bought (and, of course

ate) a pint of Haagan Daazs ice cream on Saturday when I went grocery shopping.

I always think it is worth the pain...until I actually GET the pain...LOL!!

Past several days I have been having the stabbing pain in my abdomen.

Usually between meals. Supposed to have a MRI of my abdomen today but

they called and said the machine is down. Had to reschedule it for

Thursday, 8am! Now will have to force myself to get up earlier that

day.

I hope this lets up. I, for one, know what abdominal pain is all about. It

must be horrible. Hope the MRI reveals something that will allow them to help

you.

Debra

Thanks Leeanne!

Sorry your husband has the flu now. So far I don't have it. But now

my stomach feels like an open wound and still have the abdomen pain.

If I do get the flu will have to contact one of my doctor to check my

lab.
