Guest guest
I'm told you either like it or hate it. My folks thought it was poison on our recent trip. Great! All the more for me. I now have two 12 packs in my office, six in my van, and another four or so at home. I've also got on sale rain checks for another 30 or so 12 packs. WEEEEE. Guest guest
I'm not a big fan of citrus or lemon flavored water. It always seems too close to dish soap to me. Weird I know. All the Aquafina website says about FlavorSplash, " It is available at your favorite retailers across the country, except Wyoming, Montana and parts of Alabama and parts of Idaho. " Not much to go off of. Enjoy! > > > Have you guys tried the citrus flavor? I tried some while on vacation and > LOVED it! Now I can't find it up here! Guest guest
Mike, I haven't tried the Aquafina flavor splash. What makes it so great? I like Propel because it has the added vitamins. I packed a cooler full of them along with some regular water and diet sodas for my family for our boating trip this last weekend. Everyone saw me drinking the Propel and decided to give it a try, but they disliked it. They said it tasted like flavored water...duh! in Virginia 299/239/150 Lap RNY: 5/3/06 Re: Hey Mike........ Guest guest
Well let's see if I can relate something that is more like an emotion or feeling. Propel seems too sweet. I almost never say that about things. How can something be too sweet? I guess it tastes or has the texture of kool-aid. Texture? Does that make sense? I guess I don't know how to explain it well. Also it has about 30 calories a bottle. While that's not a lot I drink a half dozen or more bottles of water a day. That'd add up to 180 calories. The vitamins are great but I take suppliments. The FlavorSplash seems more crisp (texture again?). It reminds me a lot of the crispness I used to crave in Diet Mountain Dew. I've drank diet soda for over 15 years so that might be why Propel seems to sweet/strange. As I'm sure is the same with Propel FlavorSplash seems to be a lot more enjoyable if it's VERY cold although I am used to drinking it at room temperature too. I've gotten to the point now where I can drink them two at a time almost, rotating two in the fridge, replace with two, drink two, etc. They usually don't cool fast enough so I end up with two from the tap sprinkled in there. Yeah people who don't like flavored water but like regular sugared soda or something. What at can you say about that? They're just minutes away from cracking open and chugging on a bottle of Karo pure corn syrup. DELICIOUS!! My son just flagged me down on a TV ad for http://www.chattem.com/whatsnew/DexMax2O.asp. The suppliments I'm going to start taking after my prescription prenatals run out will have chromium and loads of Vitamin Bs. I found a website selling a 20 tablet box for $12.39. That's $.62 a tablet (and that's not including shipping). I can get FlavorSplash for $.50 a bottle or less with flavor already in it. I do like the idea of calcium in Propel for my daughter. She doesn't get nearly enough. She hates milk and doesn't take a regular suppliment.
