Amitiza after a few months. My medication had just the active

tapered off of Miralax, thanks to SCD, but then Zelnorm was pulled

from the market so I had to go back to using Miralax and taking extra

magnesium. My doctors swear that Miralax is safe over the long

term. I just take Miralax once a day, but I know others with severe

constipation who take it two and three times a day.

Hey,

I looked online and Amitiza has inactive ingredients including

sorbitol (http://www.amitiza.com/amitizafaqs.aspx), which would make

it illegal. I'm really not having any luck with the prune juice and

beet muffins (the no nut recipe). Should I add the nut flour? I just

havent had luck with adding fiber...usually it makes it worse. I hate

to be taking a stimluent laxative...but really i will not go--

ever...without it. Any suggestions to help out would be great.

Thanks!
