Guest guest
If I had been stronger when I was in the hospital, I would have complained to the President of the United States if I had to. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the strength and was at everyone’s mercy. I didn’t even have enough muscle control to hold my bowels back and was forced at times to sit on the toilet at times for too long because “if we let her sit there long enough maybe she’ll try harder to get up.” Yes, I quote that because I heard and aide say it. I didn’t have the strength to get a wet washcloth out of the basin, never mind get my butt off the toilet. Trust me, I couldn’t say much at the time, but I let everyone know now. I dare one of them to try and mess with me now. I may not me strong, but my mental acuity is quite good. The witch nurse who thought I was trash this week Hi Debra. I am sorry about your ER experience. Next time please complain and get a new nurse. Because there is no reason you should be disrespected like that! And I hope you are feeling much better. I hope you enjoy your holidays. Jerilyn > > I went to the ER this week as you all know. (from food poisoning). The stupid witch nurse that checked me in at triage asked what meds I was on... I told her I have fibromyalgia and told her I am on vicodin. She looked at me and said " so, how did that doctor diagnose fibromyalgia " ? She said it kind of snidely and looked down her nose. I tried to explain. > > Then later in the conversation, she told me " you need to stop taking your vicodin " ... (because she thought that was the whole problem with my bowels, not FOOD POISONING)... I said " NO, I dont need to stop taking it. Fibromyalgia is a very painful illness " . She just looked at me like I was trash. She made me wait in the ER for over an hour while I was in tears with pain in my belly from food poisoning. She said before I went to the waiting area " there are a few ahead of you " ... like as to say " well, if you are just a drug addict you need to wait a while in pain to pay for it " ... I know that is what she thought. What a witch. > > Debra V. > > > --------------------------------- > Never miss a thing.
