Hi Rhonda,I'm not sure what you tolerate but here are my suggestions......- I have a recipe for the most AWESOME chicken wings ever. (will paste below)- We also like stuffed jalapenos. I just cut them in half, remove the seeds put a chunk of white cheddar in the cavity, wrap half a piece of par-cooked bacon around and secure with a toothpick. Put them in the oven at 350*F until the pepper is as soft as you want it. I think I usually leave them in 20-30 minutes.- There is a recipe for tortilla chips in the Eat Well, Feel Well cookbook. They are a pain to make but very good. I love having them with guacamole.- Cheese crisps. Marilyn's recipe is at, http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/BTVC-SCD/message/6850- Roasted nuts or candied nuts (that you roasted or candied

yourself)- Fruit tray or veggie trayThat's all I can think of right now....Here is the wing recipe. It is Lou's recipe. We leave the honey out now because my mom is diabetic and it's still awesome.---------From Lou..... I cook the wings till nice and crispy, let them sit for 1 min, then dip in sauce and serve. Wow, Im going to get some wings for tonight.

BTW make sure the chicken is SCD legal, I wash the cut up chicken parts in water and white vinegar bath, pat them dry and put into the fridge till ready to fry.

If you are new to the diet you might want to go easy on the fried food, I have baked them, they come out OK but not the same as Deep Fried.

I also have a BBQ Sauce for ribs see below, By accident while warming up Wing Sauce, my wife mixed 1 container of wing sauce with 1 container of BBQ Sauce all I can say is WOW It was the best mistake ever.

Hot Wing Sauce ½ Cup Honey ½ Cup White Vinegar 1 Stick of Butter 2 Table Spoon salt 2 Cups Tomato Juice ( Pre Reduced ) 2 Table Spoons Tabasco SauceHave fun!Kim H.husband, , CD 1999, SCD 2002To: BTVC-SCD Sent: Wednesday, January 28, 2009 2:22:27 PMSubject: Super Bowl Sunday

Thanks so much for all the suggestions, Kim. The wings were

great--but, when I went to make them I couldn't believe the

recipe said 2 TBLS of salt and 2 TBLS of Tabasco, so I only

used 1 of each. Everyone loved them, but said they could be

spicier, so now I guess I have an excuse to make them again!
