Kim,

This brings a smile to my face, (not the fact that you were in pain and distress but read on) looking back before I was diagnosed with RSD I was having radical debridments and ultimately a series of skin grafts to my leg. After one of the grafts the doc was trying to take the staples out and the pain was so intense, like NOTHING I had ever felt before. Well, anyway, I kicked the doc in the head because he would not stop touching it. He said "Next time you come your are to take your shoes off before I see you." Also he gave me a prescription for Ativan and said to take a dose prior to my visit. He thought I was just being a baby. Well, The stupid @$$ did not recognize my symptoms as RSD. I was shortly after diagnosed with RSD and have had great care ever since. At the time it was not funny but looking back I should have kicked hem where it counts! I am not trying to make light of your situation but who do these doctors think they are? When we say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH we MEAN it!!!! Jai

I actually did that myself to a doctor.

I went and had to have an EMG done on my RSD Leg, and was screaming the whole time because of the pain. Well, after listening to this dr telling me constantly to shut up, to stop acting like a baby cause it didn't hurt hardly at all........I took advantage of the last jolt of electricity in my leg.....and faked a muscle spasm where my leg/foot went over and up......and kicked him where it counted VERY hard!!!

When I left the room, I was limping worse, with everyone in the waiting room staring at me.....but, at least I didn't have to CRAWL out of that room like that doctor did!!!!

lol
