Guest guest
It makes it cheaper. You don't have to pay full price if you have the code from the week one book. I had to fax in my weight watchers members book with the last paid date etc. When I got the code and went in, I still had to pay to get into it. So I can't figure out what the code is for. I could only access so far and then it wanted my credit card # to access all the services it mentioned like their meal builder, calculator, well I would say everything that I had wanted the code for.. I still will have to pay to get into it I thought that with the code I could get right in..anyone know the deal here. .....Kallie ---------------------------------------------------------------------- In Serious-Weight-Watchers , Mitch Javeline <mitch@p...> wrote: > Anyone have an E-Tools code from their " Getting Started " book > that they're not using. Guest guest
You still have to pay even with the code. The eTools are supposed to be extras for members not substitute meetings. So they want to make sure you go to meetings somewhere or are an online member before you get e-tools access. Right now, they are offering a 2 week trial but you still have to enter credit card info they only bill your card if you do not cancel before the trial is up. Guest guest
Mitch do you still have the first booklet they gave when you joined. I am sure it said 3 servings per day, plus I remember our leader mentioning it.. But I don't see it in the new book..It seems there seems to be a difference of opinion in leaders as well , because one substitute said she would look it up...well!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------- In Serious-Weight-Watchers , " mjaveline " <mitch@p...> wrote: I was not even aware there was a " recommended servings per day " . Guest guest
I looked through my old " Winning Points " Getting Started Book - there was no specific # of fats / day recommended .... it was just a statement saying " Limit alchohol, high-sugar, and high-fat foods " and " To limit saturated fats, its' a good idea to steer towards liquid oils and away from solid fats and hydrogenated fats when selecting foods " . That's about it ... I don't know where your recollection of 3 servings per day comes from???? Best, Mitch mjaveline wrote: >I have the book, but not with me. Guest guest
Thanks Mitch. I finally realized why I could not find my first book. It was because when I got the new one when the Flex program came out that I had given it to someone else who doesn't go to meetings. When I finally rememberd and called her to check it for me, she had gone away for the weekend. So that mystery is solved. I never throw any WW material away. I really think when I first joined that is when it got stuck in my head, I think that probably the 3 servings was mentioned for some reason. BUT I was so sure it was in my book as well. I spent a good long time looking for that darn thing.. You can see in an above posting I have it straightened out... Thanks so much for you time in digging out your book...Kallie --------------------------------------------------------------------- In Serious-Weight-Watchers , Mitch Javeline <mitch@p...> wrote: > I looked through my old " Winning Points " Getting Started Book - there was no > specific # of fats / day recommended .... it was just a statement saying > " Limit alchohol, > high-sugar, and high-fat foods " and " To limit saturated fats, its' a > good idea to steer > towards liquid oils and away from solid fats and hydrogenated fats when > selecting foods " . > > That's about it ...
