I am starting this Friday when my prescription is ready. I will let you know how it goes. I have severe UC and have been strict SCD for 13 months and still have so much bleeding/mucus/severe pain so I'm giving this a try.

Does it/did it help, and are/were there bad side-effects? Were any of you on it with alpha lipoic acid (by mouth or IV)?

For the mucus - and you probably won't like this idea, but

it works - minimize or completely take out dairy (except ghee).
