OT GI doctor visit yesterday

Saw my Gastro yesterday and he ordered an MRCP which is scheduled for

next week. The only thing I know about it, is it's the MRI version of an

ERCP, bile duct-pancreatic test. Had my gall bladder removed in 1993.

My recent ultrasound showed my bile duct is enlarged which is causing

my pain. Until my problem is resolved I can take Zocor or Lodine. He

said Zocor is the biggest culprit. Recent lab showed my ALT (SGOT) is

144 which is high.

Really getting very tired from all this.

Gosh, Debbie, I hope this additional test will provide an answer to the

problem. Did you mean you can't take Zocor or Lodine until this is

resolved? That's frustrating when meds you think are helping have to be

stopped. I will pray for good results. Take care.

Hope this new test will answer the problem. I have been on Zocor and

Lodine for years and now they are finally irritating my liver. So

can't take either med until my liver problem is resolved. Worried

because I get my fasting lab work in January to check my lipids and

other things.
